About Interiorismo

DawnDesigner profile
Having moved to Spain in 2002 leaving behind a hectic career in the UK, Dawn Crosbie is now establishing herself on the Costa Tropical in Granada, Southern Spain as an Interior Designer with her company ‘Interiorismo’. Married to former Royalty Protection Officer Barry (now a scuba diving Instructor in La Herradura) Dawn has enjoyed a challenging and fascinating career that has taken her from the corridors of Kensington Palace to the court of Queen Noor of Jordan and many amazing places in between.

Dawn has rubbed shoulders with some famous names in the cause of interior design. From discussing his new furniture range with David Linley, the son of the late Princess Margaret to whom she was personal assistant, to Queen Noor of Jordan, Princess Salimah Aga Khan and to Gianna Angelopoulos, a Greek Ambassadress. Dawn has an impressive range of experience including liaising with Jon Bannenberg on the interior of a luxury yacht to being headhunted by the Getty family to manage design projects at their country estate. Working alongside names such as Christopher Gibbs, Jane Rainey and Tessa Kennedy seemed all par-for-the-course!

As if this was not enough after leaving Interior design college, Dawn managed an American style Interior design company in the beautiful area of Ascot, Berkshire UK, which bought the concept of ‘room sets’ into the UK retail industry, and whilst Dawn was responsible for private design projects she also oversaw the layout of the showroom whilst squeezing in buying trips to European trade fairs. Coupling this with her travels with such a variety of fascinating characters and a general love of design, colour and texture has given Dawn a keen understanding of a vast array of different cultures and styles. Her passion for Moorish architecture and design in particular was fuelled during her time living in Jordan and is being happily fed with such a wealth of Moorish influence in her part of southern Spain.

Dawn has put her design and management skills to good use with her Interior Design business, and is now offering Furniture Packages, an exciting and easy way to furnish your home.  For more information, click here.
